Project description
For my contribution project, I chose to help translate and review content from the WordPress ecosystem into Costa Rican Spanish (es_CR).
Since there are only a small number of active contributors for this locale, every translation helps improve the experience for local users.
AsI already speak English, I felt this was a great opportunity to apply my language skills while making a meaningful contribution to the team and the open-source community.
My main focus has been the Elementor Website Builder plugin, where I translate and refine interface strings to ensure they sound natural and consistent for Costa Rican users.
This includes using the formal form, following WordPress terminology guidelines, and carefully preserving variables (such as %s and %d), HTML tags, and feature names so the software continues to function correctly.
My goal is to help increase the plugin’s translation coverage while delivering translations that are clear, professional, and easy for end users to understand.
