About this project

Welcome to my contribution journey. This blog documents my experience contributing to the WordPress translation platform, where I helped translate software into Spanish (Costa Rica). What began as a simple assignment quickly turned into something I genuinely cared about.

Why translation

I chose to focus on translation because it directly helps real people use WordPress in their own language. The Spanish (Costa Rica) locale had relatively few contributors and thousands of untranslated strings, so I knew my work could make a visible difference for the community.
